Thank you for the birthday wishes everyone!!

I am a little slow getting back to everyone as my behind has been sitting in a truck out on the road. So far my company has spotted only a handful of IEDs (Improvised Explosive Devices) and has not been hit at all. We are thankful everyday for our luck. We put on a lot of miles in some pretty dangerous places.

Time here continues to go fast and I am more than excited to be home in 7 months.

Thank you for your continued support and encouragement. It really does mean the world to me.

They should have let you come home for your birthday. Anyway, here's wishing you a very Happy Birthday. I sure we all want you home as soon as possible so we don't have to worry about you being over there anymore.
