how to remove artist name in folders

ok i would like to know how i can remove artist name from a track, for example i have a folder named kid rock and i open it and have 15 tracks with artist and name of song per track. now is there a way to remove the artist name and just keep the name of the song? i know i can do it one by one but is there a way i can do this all at once?

Tag & Rename will let you do the changes in batches, you specify what you want on the file name and that's it.
 
IMHO, you probably shouldn't remove it.

If for some reason you lost your tags, you would be able to rebuild them to a workable degree, by using a filename mask. I've seen people trash their entire collection of tags, by a simple mistake in a tagging program.

If you keep at least artist and title in the filename, you will be able to recover.
 
Rename File TAB, then you decide what goes on the file (You remove Artist from the name string and just leave the title on said string, hit save and files have been renamed.
 
I'm not sure as I don't have any.
 
I as well swear by Tag & Rename. All tracks are formatted 'Artist - Title [remix/version if applicable]' In my personal collection, for cd's where track order is to be preserved, I'll use the format 'Artist - [track#] - Title'
