I ordered a light stand and it came today 1-7-24. I haven't opened the box yet. I got another one because I don't know what I did with the other one I had.

I wanted the stand so when I use some lights to make the setup look presentable. Next private event I do I will try it out.

I just got another wireless mic body-pack transmitter today. I didn't misplace any of my others.
I'm going to re-sell this one for more than I paid because there's other people out there who tend do to misplace or lose what they have.

There is no such thing as wasted money. It's merely changing hands.

I think you should get another light stand just for balance. I assume you have two speaker stands?
One light stand will look awkward and people will think: "I wonder what happened to the other half of his lights?"
Then you'll have to admit you lost a light stand. Could be embarrassing.

I don't owe you anything. I love the speakers I use because they sound great! Now if I did look at getting lighter speakers I don't want to compromise on the sound. I wouldn't make the same mistake my partner did buying a pair of speakers because of the price.

My partner was talking with me about getting some more speakers that are not as heavy as the Yamahas.
