I just ordered some new speakers.

The speakers just came right now! I'm going to give about a 20 minutes test to see how the one speaker sounds.
Most importantly, what % interest are you paying? How many months? What are payments?
A young man that works in our plant just bought his fiancé an engagement ring for $9000. He doesn’t have good credit and was surprised he got the credit. I saw his paperwork He put $1000 down and is paying 29% interest. I didn’t have the heart to tell him the jewelry store already made their money by his $1000 down and will give the credit to anyone to get that interest. The mark up on jewelry is that much
He’s paying $240 a month for 8 years and will pay over $14k in interest
I say there’s a huge chance he never pays that ring off. Credit will take much longer to improve, if ever. The jewelry store will take any money they can get, then sell the bad debt to a collector for pennies on the dollar.

Please don't beat me up everybody. I hooked up the speaker and couldn't get sound from the speaker. Lol. I never had any speakers like this one. I also saw a video that said the firmware issue has gotten fixed. Don't go crazy Please. We will figure it out another day. I'm getting ready to go to a meeting and after that spend the night with my GF. One thing I will say is those plastic boxes are very well made. Have a wonderful day all.

Many don't.. and many don't understand. One guy I worked with years ago bought a new to him car it was a decent rig but he seriously overpaid for it like several thousand overpaid then there was 27% interest on top of that. He thought 27% was $27 a month on a $17,000 loan I tried to explain it to him but he was having none of that. He had the car less than a year
If GC is anything like Long and McQuade here in Canada it's likely 17%. I bought a lot of stuff on credit there over the years especially for installs when I did a few years ago. I would always pay it off in a month or two or take advantage of one of their zero percent days they have a few times a year. I actually bought a Rodecaster2 back in October that is paid off this month at 0%

I know what I did and I will have to pay them off over time. I have the possibility of a couple events coming up. One is with the guy who we do the event in Branch Brook Park every year. This year he had to get another DJ to do it because of what happened. He said he might have a fund raiser before the park event and we can do that. The other one is scheduled for Sunday May 26th. I been playing the song by First Choice Let No Man Put Asunder. The lyrics say its not over and that's what I believe.

Does the partner you have contribute anything to the business? Did he not have speakers and a controller you guys could use to do gigs?

Yes for all 3 questions. He bought a stand alone controller a little while ago and he has the Mackie Thumps that he blew up at a gig and replaced the speakers with different woofers and tweeters. I don't know how to use a stand alone controller. He bought it and he's not crazy about it. He wants another one that he can use with a laptop. He wants a Denon. So there you have it.
It doesn't have to be over, but good business practice suggests that when the elevator door opens - we check that the elevator is actually there before stepping forward. Such is the case with deciding to buy new equipment. We should already have confirmed bookings that will help us pay for it.
I just had 2 new 70" screens, and 2 heavy duty rolling stands delivered today. I haven't actually paid for any of it yet, and I will use them on Wednesday for an event from which the entire cost will be recovered. That event requires a total of 8 screens. The gear itself is on a fixed payment schedule for the next year, so I'll be using them to create income well in excess of the 12 payments to be made in the future.
Today, I also booked two prior inquiries for a Saturday next month which combined will require from 4 to 7 screens, and another event that same month that is potentially a candidate for some screens as well. The point is - I waited for the elevator door to open, and verified that the elevator floor had indeed arrived before I took that crucial next step.
You should be operating in similar fashion.
I hear you and I understand. I just needed to get back on my feet with what just happened as you already know.
Retail shopping might make you feel empowered but it doesn't last. It's just another pain killer, and you end up addicted just like any other pain killer.

I talked to my partner and he said that was cool. So we are still going to be in the park the last Saturday in August. He said he might do a fundraiser and have us do that. So things are looking up
