If so, possibly an extension arm slid between the two units...mirror ball motor mounted on the end, with lighting mounted on the tripod stand. ????

Perm-mounted mirror ball motor and I got a threaded, steel rod that sticks into a hole, drilled into the t-bar. Works great.
