Infocus X2 1500 ANSI Lumens LCD Projector

Looks like a good buy for someone trying to get started on the cheap. Worst case scenario, you'll get all your money back out of it when you upgrade to somethign better!

1500 lumens? If you light a candle it becomes useless.

Actually, when used in a rear projection scenario, you would not be able to tell the difference between it and a 3000 lumen in a dark room...

If you're not looking to use these in a semi lit room, they'll work rather well for video and slide shows.. I still have dual 1200 lumen projectors I snd out with my guys.. they do the job.

You can also split the signal and stack those, thus doubling your lumens..

not a bad price for a projector...

Okay, if you do it RP you might have to light 2 candles. ;-)
