The songs you are playing are not considered classic?
I've observed the top 40 listeners and they are absolutely trendy. You could have a song such as "Like a G6" (just an example) that is a big hit and everyone can't get enough of. After the big hit falls behind the rest, the same people who would have listened to the song will talk about how old/lame/uncool/gay/retarded the song is.
What about house, electro house, dubstep, and drum and bass?
Does the crowd get pissed if you play older music? Are they as trendy as the top 40 crowd?
