So rather than provide a solid argument for a conclusion you prefer to just make a "leap" and wait to be proven wrong?

It's true. I am very likley to decline an invitation to do someone else's homework.

I do my homework. Thank you. (reviewing the southern dj conference dvd's this week.) Not asking you to do my homework. I state my case, and my answer.

You say, my answer is wrong. I ask why. You say because?

I don't buy because you said so. Would love to recheck the homework, but If I have no other supporting (or non supporting information) the conclusion will be the same.

With out any supporting information to the contrary. My homework is double checked and done. Thank you for the "assignment".

So much for taking you class. No textbooks - No class.

(At least Dude has color pictures to look at, and if I don't like his outcome?? I turn the picture sideways.) :sqwink:

My basic complaint is that they're employing BAD BUSINESS PRACTICES, and those bad practices are adversely effecting ME.
Why isn't it affecting them?

:laughing4:

It is...

That is exactly why DJs subsidize their hobbies...

The "BAD BUSINESS PRACTICES" are in all reality, the competitive edge being sought...no matter what the future cost.

I feel for anyone that is so misguided that they can't see that handwriting on the wall...

I'd check your compass before losing sight of shore...:violent5:

You can see it as an argument if you want, but neither of us is captive to any outcome, and there's nothing gained here by "winning" a debate.

I'm just pressing you on the areas I think you could gain from turning your looking glass around.

But you're not the only one reading this. There may very well be some younger DJs who read but don't post. Most threads also remain accessible for a long period of time. So either side of the "argument" may very well turn out to be of benefit to someone neither of us will ever know about.

Think of it as our little contribution to the "industry".

Fair enough! I have indeed attempted to look at all sides, and inward as well. Thanks for keeping me on my toes!
