Wish I could have been there this year... With great on-line communities like this one, there is no doubt in my mind that these events will continue to get bigger each year.

Yeah, JT is like a BIG kid... You've gotta keep an eye on him to keep him out of trouble... I'm always busting his chops back home.

The Exhibit Hall is pretty impressive. This is my fourth show and looks bigger than in the past. I only had time to get to 1/3 of all the booths.

Ryan from MB hit a home run with Otis Day. He and his band did a great job of entertaining a crowd of critics. I didn't hear one bad thing about his performance.

On the other hand, Vanilla Ice was, well darn right crude. I know that's what he does, but we left 5 minutes into it. He was cusing up a storm, spitting/throwing water on us and braging about liking to "Destroy Stuff" - real mature...

Judy and I are off to dinner and then the David Copperfield show.

Conventions are hard! :sqeek:

Guess the "Surreal Life" was his watershed....;)

I thought after last years fiasco with the entertainers, they'd be more careful.

Steve,

JT has been MIA today. I spoke to David Beal from Canada this afternoon and he's kinda worried about him? He and David went to Studio 54 last night and got in a 5:30 a.m.

JT stopped by the Hercules Booth around 2ish (I think, it's been a bit of a blur), and kept track of things for me while I took a bathroom break. Unfortunately, he wasn't back at 4 p.m., when Six Star picked his business card, as we gave away a HUGE stack of items, such as LED lights, headphones, cd cases, carrying bags, and smoke machines, and TONS of t-shirts. You must be present to win! He wasn't.

We're doing it again tomorrow.

Great stuff Keith!!! What was the price of the BL15, if I may ask? I been looking at these lights. What is the coverage area?

Funny,

I was thinking the same thing... along with the handheld Bliss lights - I saw a prototype of that last year. I guess they went into production...

Great posts Keith!

Thank you,

Joe

Ruben,

The BL15 was $396.50 with free shipping (because of my much larger Dynacord order, Thanks Kat). Coverage is hard to qualify, I'm tired and don't want to give you the wrong impression.

One thing I like is that you can have the clouds on only, stars on only or a comination of the two.

The first way I thought of to use it will be at my upcoming March Wedding;

Mount it on a tripod, show the clouds on the floor for the first dance while simutaniously projecting the couple's monogram on the floor.

"Dancing On The Clouds" :sqcool:

The handheld is $50 and is Judy's now...I can't get it away from here. I thought we were gonna get kicked out of the Copperfield show. She enhanced the MGM Hollywood Theater's light show before he came out.

That brings me to the next revalation,

I'll just give out the handheld to a youg'en - keeps him occupied and does the work of spinning the stars for me. :sqlaugh:

Just as long as I get it back.:sqeek:

So Judy had her sister and BOL buy the Copperfield tickets for her. They got the confirmation email stating that the email, driver's license and issuing CC would be required to pick up the tickets.

Realizing this would be a problem, they called and had the tickets transferred to Judy's name. The MGM said the CC would not be required. We also called to confirm this before leaving for Vegas.

Guess what? We get to the conciere office and they tell us we need the CC even though the name had been transferred to Judy's. Judy was nice, but I got firm with them. The rep lady didn't back down and told us we were SOL. I said I'll see about that.

We were told to go to the Hollywood box office to talk to the manager that would tell us the same thing.

While Judy was in line, I put some money in a slot and hit $380!!!

Karma was on our side.

We got the tickets without further hassle and had dinner at Wolfgang Pucks on he MGM. :sqlaugh:

It was a nice steak dinner and chocolate soufflé for $140 of their money.

The magic was awesome!

One big shoot out to Michael Doucot for steering me to a Sweet Ass sounding Dynacord system too.

I gotta tell you guys once again, just how awesome the NLFX crew and Mr. Doucot is.

I have added to my list of true friends this week.

They really want to help YOU look and sound good. I can't wait to use the Dyna's at my upcoming March wedding.

Awesome Keith that is going to be my second Dynacord system in the future. I have been rather busy in the past few days and yes did a bit of dancing at the Studio 54. I was the designated driver by the way. Im tired tonite as ?I made it to 4 mandatory courses for marketing I will mention more details in my thread but it will likely be Tomorrow night at the end of the show or Friday as I will be waiting for my flight out set for 4. Keith whats your schedule for the next two days. I am up for dinner tomorrow or breakfast or lunch.

One added bonus for being in the NLFX/Dynacord family;

free hugs from Kat, as Heath already knows. :sqwink:
