Then you don't understand simple English or you're too sensitive to appreciate advice to seek assistance.
WHAT I POSTED/WROTE/SAID WAS,
You have to read all words in context and not on hyper-offend-ability alert.
Taken in context, I was clearly and directly suggesting that you seek the assistance of a trusted and reliable fellow performer that has relevant experience and legit country library.
No where in that suggestion is the alleged "do not any new kind of event, because you imply it's not possible to prepare for something new."
What I suspect, and I could be misinterpreting your reactions, is that you are taking offense to the implication that you are selfishly willing to risk your client's satisfaction and event success because you can't/won't appreciate the reality that none of us can know all and it is often better to seek education and assistance from those with better/more experience.
I did not say that but, as a practice, I do not accept events for which I am knowingly un or ill prepared.
In the past, I have been persuaded to take jobs outside my comfort zone and experience level but only did so by informing the client that I would be partnering with or assisted by someone with the necessary experience, knowledge and capacities that I lacked. (Examples provided upon request.)
I don't consider that a weakness. I find it to the most intelligent and mutually beneficial course I could take.
But, youdoyoubooboo!
