There is a difference between loud and low. I think you've got LS801p's, so you know what loud is...and you think you know what low is, but those subs actually don't go that low , the rear quasi-horn is way too short. When you hear 20hz to 35hz with real authority (feel it is probably more correct), you'll know it!
