We did an event this past Saturday. I took a ton of pictures at the event and only a few pictures came up that are too dark and don't include pictures of any guest dancing. Tried to email the pictures and nothing shows up on my pc. They come up on the camera but not on my pc.

We went to the store to see if we could print them out and that wouldn't work. Is thyere a way to get the pictures to show so i can email them? What can i do? Please help asap!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When you connect the camera to a PC with a USB cable, it should show up as an external drive and you should be able to use Windows features to copy files. To view the files, they need to be in .jpg format not .crw (which is raw format). You need special software to view or edit raw files (Google Picasa is a free tool that does).

Sorry but I'm not a computer wiz. I just found out this evening at the network meeting that the camera comes with a disc that will change the pictures from the raw format to the right format so I can email them. Dunce hat is on. Lol!

Until you get good at the camera, turn off the raw format. It should be in a menu on the camera called "Quality" or something like that. Turn off Raw and Set the Jpeg output to High - Sharpened (or fine). That should suffice for most things you need, the files will be smaller and you can send them without conversion.

Macho Man:

I thought you gave up on photography and DJ'ing, and are renting out sound systems...? :triconfused:

Just a thought -- but have you ever tried doing anything on your own, possibly reading manuals or just trying stuff, before asking everybody else to help you do your job...? ;)

I wonder if he goes out on dates (With Women)? Hmmmmmm he might need help there too!

I bought the camera for my birthday. Why would i give up on photography spending that kind of money on a camera? I bought the camera so i could take pictures and video of events we do. I wanted a real good quality camera that would do a great job and not just a simple point and shoot. I'm not looking to do photography for a living. I didn't buy this camera so i could make money off of it. Others have tried to convince me to go that way but i'm not thinking like that right now. That's not what i want to do.

As for DJing that's my passion! God has blessed me to come back to do what i love and i'm even better then what i was before. Well at least DJ wise. I know there's always more to learn. You never stop learning. Things are beginning to look up a little bit. I'm not where i want to be so i'll keep on pushing to get there.

It is like the milk that is past the sell by date in the fridge. You know it is spoiled but you have to smell it anyway.

I have news for you. Milk past the sell date can still be good. The sell date is different than the "Use Buy..." date. The sell date is a protection for the Grocery stores/Merchants to comply with USDA and Dept. of Health Regulations.
