Hey all,
I have a coworkers daughters' wedding tomorrow....she is into punk rock, 80s, and 90s, pretty much alternative rock type stuff. She likes:

REM, Nirvana, Cake, Beastie Boys, Smashing Pumpkins, Violent Femmes, etc....

Any suggestions on specific songs to get them to dance? This might be a tough one...

Thanks in advance...

Jeff

Green Jelly?

Alternative 90s says headbanging. I got out of the genre when I got out of the middle school market.

Chuck may be able to help with this one. He's the school dance guru. :)

People Are People or umm RANCID!

I have played Timebomb or Ruby Soho with some success but Rancid is not a real crowd pleaser.
Violent Femmes
The Clash
Pearl Jam
Nirvana
Soundgarden
The Screaming Trees
Mudhoney
The Melvins
Green Day
Mother Love Bone

Most alternative music is not really danceable unless you consider moshing to be dancing.
