Jon makes an important point. Aside from the aesthetic balance of two radiators (some here call them "sticks") and four bass bins, the additional bass bins will make better use of the output power available to you.

Once you set the system up and run it in a venue you'll notice the difference in tone and overall coverage. The line array does offer this distinct advantage. :)

I've done many a reception with 1 stick and 1 sub and covered the event with no problem whatsoever. Plenty of sound and plenty of bass.
Stop telling people it can't be done when many of us are out here doing it every day.
As a matter of fact....80 percent of my receptions are 1 stick 1 sub events.
I have 3 set's of Bose but why drag everything in when 1 will do.

Thanks for the backing Scott. I tried it out last night, and wow, it blew me away.

Scott your missing the point. Most who have said anything meant results are more optimal with two bins. Even I said it and also mentioned having used one stick and one tiny bin.

I am now going to say something that most of you will be shocked to hear. You can do fine with this setup as here in Canada I did just this on four gig occasions. I rented the only L1 and B1 for these two gigs. In fact the guests loved it and it sounded great in the room. mind you I played for a room of 85 on two occasions with the crowd another event was in a outdoor tent with around 70 people and then a Christmas party for a bunch of Engineers (45 total). The others were a Yacht club which I will be playing for this weekend using the Dyna system which they love even more, and a wedding rception under a tent for 50 peeps. Yacht club avg age 45-70. Age at Wedding 20-75 with majority over 45. Engineers group agec 25-80 with most over 50.

This system had plenty of Bass tone for all of these events. However I rented it for these unique events for acoustical issues most conventional speakers have problems with. The Dynacord also passes the test in these situations with much more boom.

My point is that though you will be much more satisfied with two Bass speakers per side with two tops for sure or even just adding a bass speaker to your current configuration. You will be able to run this way for most gigs under 100 people easily. I did it with two Mackie SRM 450 and this is certainly a step up in proper sound. One other thing I will say most will be surprised or may even argue. People recognize the BOSE name and associate it with the best sound ever as many own the home entertainment system or the Kitchen radio system. One other thing percieved value is a bonus. Bose owners are used to paying more for the product so you might likely be able to swing a price above the typical DJ in your area.

Enjoy your system and even more so when you add the rest.

:sqerr: Jon is on medication y'all! You can tell from his post that he is sedated! :sqeek:
