very simple elegant Sarge. I like it. Now you need to implement the same flow on business cards, stationary etc and the web page it will be very bride appealing.

The logo is simple however too wordy. It looks like it would print just fine in black and white (very important litmus test). However, it's nothing meaningful (I think you could possibly put another 3 or 4 weeks into brainstorming up logos).

You're website is www.specialoccasionsdj.com, why isn't your company name Special Occasions DJ? I went through this same issue. My company name was Encore Entertainment & Productions, and the first website was www.EncorePartyDJs.com (I originally wanted www.AlwaysEncore.com... boy am I glad my Arnie of wedj screwed me out of the domain). Anyways, there was a conflict of the brand, because the website name and company name weren't the same. Also, what the hell does entertainment and productions mean? Do I juggle monkeys or setup tables and podiums for tv shows? So I changed the name to Encore Party DJs (to match with the website), then we niched a wedding company (Encore Wedding DJs).

I must say, you already have half of the equation (and by that I mean a keyword rich domain name). You have the word 'DJ' in your domain. The only thing you can do better than that is to have the company name be Special Occasions DJs. Now you can see why I am glad an ex employee of wedj screwed me out of the domain name.

All in the works. Might make a couple little tweeks yet.

Hampton, another thing you can do it what we recently did.

When we had out logo done, we went from Sights and Sounds DJ and Video (our site was sightsandsoundsdj.com) and Sights and Sights Productions. We just bought sightsandsoundsproductions.com as a domain, and have sightsandsoundsdj.com redirected to it, so no matter which one people type in, it goes right to our site.

You could do the same thing with Special Occasions Entertainment.com without having to change anything on your site.
