Hi. I'm Dave and being new here just want to introduce myself!
I've played guitar for about 52 years now - not as good as a lead guitarist, but I can hold my own. I play an acoustic 12-string Taylor and have been told that I'm pretty good at playing rhythm guitar...can't dance but I can play rhythm - go figure!
I've played mostly in church bands and orchestras and have done a little sound mixing in my day. Our church recently purchased a Behringer X32 and I'm working with the sound tech to help them get used to it and get it set up properly. My son is my resource since he is weekly, setting up and tearing down their system.
Right now, the budget is tiny, so I'm working on first things first, and that is to get a couple of Furman power conditioners installed! Our power here in Idaho fluctuates greatly (anywhere from 112 - 130) so getting this done first is a must. After that, it's on to a digital snake.
I appreciate the help from this forum.

Welcome Dave

Welcome to the forum. I’m a former a guitar player too. I used a to play Rhythm guitar in a couple bands. Lots of fun, although I was never really good. My father was a real musician, played all the saxophones & woodwind instruments. Taught me to play the clarinet, which I was actually really good at but had to give that up in high school. Being a jock & playing the guitar does mix with playing the clarinet. I am thinking if you have Issues with line voltage you might want to get a regulator like the Furman M-8X AR 15A Voltage Regulator instead of a conditioner. It’ll keep your voltage steady.

I played clarinet and sax also - and similarly, gave it up in high school. I mess with guitars, but that's about it.
