Not a whole lot of room for wireless mics, second laptop or iPad, etc. Might be nice for a simple ceremony system or a very simple music only event.

Looks nice.

And while it says the things that are included, there are additional charges of $200 for pre-wiring, $250 for the bag and $250 for the laptop holder .. making it over $1700.

I liked it when I saw it, didn't mind the price ($1750 fully tricked-out) and thought it was a quality stand, but it's not designed to permanently hold the controller - Joe Bunn (the designer) told me the controller should be removed before transporting it.

That's a dealbreaker for me, for two reasons - it increases my setup time and it decreases the lifespan of my controller (plugging and unplugging cables before and after every use puts additional stress on the connectors). Nice idea, but it needs improvement.

While I don't like "hiding" behind a façade...
sometimes you just gotta reach down and scratch your junk.
And where do you hide your cases, lids, and crap?
This is a little to "exposed" for me.
(pun intended. apologies to the ladies)

As a tall guy, I'd be this thing sits too low for me to comfortably DJ on it. But, I like the general concept.

I've been trying to think through revamping my set up look for a few months, and struggling to come up with a look I like that is functional. This is getting closer.

Because they're custom made, the height of the base can be any height you'd like. It's pretty much made-to-measure.

in the FB 'great dj' forum they rave about this (or one like it). Someone there uses a white one.

Yeah, nice and clean in the sample pic..but I'm gonna almost certainly have a drink, a clipboard or papers at a wedding, a wireless mic, perhaps the throwing bouquet.

Looks like it has a one or 2 rack space in the front (well dj side)? Or is that a space for the mic and clipboard? If so where does the mic base using go, dbx, etc fit?

and this nice pic shows no wires going to teh speakers or lighting.

As for one's cases and such you just take them back out the car instead of stuffing them under the table.

It's not for me, bit I do like the concept of a sleek, modern stand..well, unless you're doing a barn wedding then you'll look very out of place LOL

The 3rd picture (with the wires) is at the base of the unit and shows connections to the speakers (power and XLR) and power in. I guess passive speakers are out for this setup.

The receptacles being near the floor would make hooking up a challenge for me . Does make great cable management .
Steve, What's a passive speaker? LOL

I did an IKEA hack to build my stand.

I tried to post a photo, but it won't let me.
Ya have to be special to post pics. Otherwise you'd have guys postin' pics of all kinds of stupid stuff!! Here's a pic of me with my custom controller stand...

I can't use it for gigs though... Guests get drunk and then try to do all kinds of inappropriate stuff to it.

I would think that at the height you set her .. the DJ might too !

I'll stick with my own table. It has enough room for my controller in the case. Along with my EFX 500 and the base unit of my cordless mics. I just hate I didn't come up with this table idea so I could get paid in full.
