Rockit 5 - Feature Requests

I am hot and heavy into finishing V5 coding within the next two months (estimate), so here is yer chance to get in any feature requests, that I may not have heard about before.

Please don't ask about how to do something in V4 -- use the V4 thread for that, so I can keep track of the requests here. ;)

Looking for things that will help you, and make life easier for you on stage; building your library, maintaining it, finding songs, etc. Controls that might be useful to you, and things like that.


No guarantees that any request will make final release, but I do work for you folks, so if you want your input heard, put it here, or email me at my support email :)

and I dont care wether you think a song shouldnt be sped up or slowed down. Then nobody would be doing cover songs of anybody because the song was not intended for them. Just like the Cheesy song thread, who cares what you think, this is a Standard Feature on all CD decks and DJ Software, get on the ball and add it.... Simple Drag and drop within a list rather than having to move to top or move one space up.

I was betting to myself, on who would be the first to bring that up, since it's been mentioned here 134,000,00 times :D

Rockit already has it, if you have read the 45 pages of the Rockit 4 thread -- I just have it disabled. Whether it gets enabled, is purely a financial question on my part, due to the support requirements that come with it, plus whether it changes the focus of the brand... :)

The request list is a different bird, because it works directly with the communications interface in Rockit. I'll see what I can do though, without breaking anything... :)
 
okay how about a feature which shows how many times you play a song perhaps use a tiny beer mug as the tick for each time played. This would help assist in making a customized top 100 list for the year type list for clients.

I already put in a Most Played folder under Library -- which can be adjusted to show a certain amount of top 40, 50, etc.

Is that what you mean Jon...?
 
No its a star rating per song and then you can go by top rating to next rated sort of like a personal MB top 200 rating list. Thanks Randy for the vote of confidence and I do pay attention just mentioned the wrong list for drag and drop. Rick explained that and its fine.
