Hi Rick
Could a screen saver kicking in give this result
I would think it could....are you running anti virus, or a security suite? Is your wireless card on?

Doubtful, they generally don't use much horsepower, nor effect the throughput of the drives. But, for the screensaver to kick in, means the computer has gone into idle mode, and depending on your power settings, might mean the drives power down...
Make sure you have all power saving schemes turned off.
Never seen/heard of an issue with wireless and Rockit. My test computers have everything and their sister running (downloading emails, surfing the web, etc.), and they run flawlessly for days on end.
Security yes, because if decides to scan a drive in the middle of playback, the drive head is going to be bouncing all over the place.
Anything that indexes your drives is also a big offender -- e.g. Windows Search Indexing is on for that drive, iTunes Helper is running, Google Toolbar/Search Indexer is installed and running, etc...
Rick, it says on your site that you can play music videos but d0oes Rockit allow you to mix music videos as you would audio?
If not, any plans on adding that functionality in the near future?

Thanks Ric will look into all these
Hi Rick
I have now turned off all possible issues installed extra ram reinstalled rockit .
I,m running it on a notepad edited the skin to suit from your tutorial.
But i still have the same error when i start the deck playing the track starts ok then it will suddenly stop playing for a couple of seconds then carry on playing but not at the place it stopped it continues to where it would have been if it had never stopped.
Could this be a sound card issue if so how can i check my sound card
First, try a couple things, just to make sure they are not causing any issues:
Go to Config->Audio Decks, and make sure the Pre-processor is turned off, and also turn off Lookup Art on internet on track load. Click Save, then restart Rockit.
As to the sound card:
Normally, a sound card issue will throw an error, and the decks will stop responding. If the song is continuing to play (e.g. the meters are still responding in Rockit, and the time is advancing), then it's possible that the sound card is losing its output connection to whatever you are plugged into. The only way to check that, is to plug in an external sound card, and see if it happens using that card...
