I was at the CE week event at the Javits Center in New York last week and I saw a couple of interesting items. Now I haven't tried any of them but a couple I am looking into further.

HP mobile projectors. They had a couple smaller ones which were very low in lumens. But the HP OP800 was 800 lumens and was battery powered. This can be usable for meetings with clients or a small backyard movie. 800 lumens isn't much but is 200 more than the first video projector I was using for outdoor movies and we were projecting on a 17 foot screen.

Avita Laptops. Never heard of that brand but their Liber model had a all aluminum case, Intel I5 processor, 8GB ram, 256 SSD, 2.6 lbs and felt a lot like holding a Mac Air.

Broadcast video streaming Turret. This thing has a decent quality Mic, pop screen, Ring light and WebCam

Ion Tiki torch pairs. Solar powered tiki torch with built-in Bluetooth speaker, you can use multiples of them and they linked together. At 10 Watt each they may not be the best sounding speakers but I'm assuming very usable for background. Very nice set considering no wires and you could leave them out side so they'll be ready to go.

Ion Radio/turntable which looks like it was pulled out of the dash of a Ford Mustang complete with the ford mustang logo on top.

Grip All-In-1 phone mount for the car. Contains everything to either windshield, vent mount, dash mount, adhesive mount or CD slot mount. I needed one for my van and was able to pickup one at show. I didn't mount it yet but it looked nice and was fully adjustable. Way more superior than what I'm currently using.

AURA Photo frame. These allow you to upload photos via wi-fi thru the app. I was told kids buy them for their parents who live out of state and upload photos remotely so frame always has current photos. A sensor on the frame changes the photo with a wave of the hand.

Sounds crazy but a Zeeq smart pillow, beside being very comfortable. It has Bluetooth speakers, snoring sensor which gives you a little stimulus to move to cut back on snoring and a sleep Analysis/tracking function with smart alarm.

Now here are the funniest items I saw. So I go over with my son to ask what these two items are. I'm thinking they are cell phone holders or something like that but I really don't know. Turns out there are men and women wireless smart vibrators. So the rep gives me whole 10 minute dissertation on how these things work while I trying to figure out how to get out of Dodge. So if you see somebody really happy and moaning they might be wearing one of these things as you control it with your cell phone.
