You may not have liked him - and you may not have purchased Apple products or services - but he has had a major impact on the world we live in today.
Not disagreeing with the fact that he had a major impact on modern technology, simply stating that he was an asshat.
It's easy to call someone great when you look at the results of their work but have not seen how they act or interact.

But to say all of their products are crap simply isn't true, especially the "I" products. Marketing can't help a bad product give a user a good experience.
I have Microsoft products, apple products, and Google products.
All have strengths and weaknesses.
I've heard the same thing from people about the sound system I use. "terrible products but a mammoth marketing approach".... Yet, I've been very happy with the performance for 12 years. My customers too. That's some great marketing.
