Does anyone know how get get a song from youtube? There is a version in the song that my bride and groom really want, must be this particular version of youtube. Thanks!!!

For those that have made suggestions, what's the quality of the mp3?
I use a resource that you can search YouTube, see how others rate the quality of the YouTube video and the resulting mp3 is 256. Most others I've seen are 128 bit.

Is it legal in a word no... but it is a nice stop gap for when you are in a bind and can't obtain a particular remix of a song in time for an event. I figure as long as the song is purchased even after the fact does the delivery matter?
Sometimes clients ask for music that seems only available on YouTube videos... for example I had a bride ask for a specific rendition on classical guitar... the only place to find it was YouTube since this particular artist only publishes via YouTube

Sorry joker, I couldn't resist.
However, I agree with Joker with the point of taking care of the customer when in a bind. The extra mile is what matters.
Believe me I know where you're comming from on this as an artist... but, your music is easy to obtain from your website.... so in the case of music that can be found on websites for legal purchase and download I see no reason to use a YouTube download tool... at least no legal reason anyway.
You laugh but I had just such a situation.... had a request for a song that was not available via download but, could be purchased in CD format.... unfortuneately with less than 48 hour notice of the song request for a special dance I purchased the CD but downloaded the track I needed off YouTube.... the CD came a week later.
I'm laughing with you as I've been down this road before as well. And I agree if it's available for purchase online that should be the 1st choice to go with.
YouTube does offer some obscure music that probably couldn't be obtained anywhere else. And, I agree that you gotta please your client first, especially in a pinch. Keep up the good work. If you ever need anything from me, contact me first and I will help you out.
We have made our own bed on this issue. I love to make my client happy at all costs but if they think so little about a specific song but to drop it on me the day before or day of its importance certainly had little meaning to the client and Im suddenly supposed to consider it life threatening? On the other hand what about the little gift VDJ gives you with the online search mechanism which will scour the net for a free copy of almost anything. I havent used this feature but its there. We support the practice by exception, yet criticize one who relys solely on this method? I dont see the difference. An individual who pockets a candybar versus the guy who pockets an Armani Watch are both thieves RIGHT?
