Song Suggestion Help

My client this weekend just informed me that they'll have some family coming up from Texas and would like me to play some tejano music. They said not a whole lot, maybe 8-10 songs. I contacted a friend of mine who is Hispanic and has DJ'd for some suggestions but I'm reaching out here too.

do any of you have maybe a top 25 tejano song list so I can track down the songs? Or something?

Your help is greatly appreciated guys.
 
I'm no expert on the subject I did some research on it a couple of years ago just for my own interest but depending on the age group I suppose Carlos Santana or Freddy Fender would be popular along with Los Lobos or Ry Cooder. Los Lonley Boys Selena and The Hometown Boys are pretty popular too and you could probably throw the Mavericks and Raul Malo's solo stuff in to for good measure

Check out Prime Cuts, Top Hits USA, and Promo Only Latin series. I believe they have labeled their songs by category and I do recall seeing Tejano songs; however, as I recall not many each month, but you may find a few. You can always check the Billboard Latin charts too. I haven't looked at their charts in some time. I'll look back through my database and see if I can find any and get back with you.
