Everyone choose the Softwere which He/She likes. It doesent matter which.I like VDJ because i work with it like 9 years. For now i stay with it because i newer change things which work fine for me.
Just me!
Just me!
did you get the lame issue figured out?
Papa, you know my phone number. Give me a call sometime soon and we'll talk about Ots. I don't feel like defending it from Maestro's attacks yet again. He's a MixMeister bigot.
Or I can call you. Your choice.
Rick,
Something I need to ask, because of the recent loss of one of my systems. Are you allowed to keep a backup copy of Rockit on a second computer for that just in case situation...
No, but it seems like I may have made OTS files anyway.... 1770 of them just batch converted, I think.
Thanks for the welcome back, Steve!Holy crap, where did that come from? A little hostile don't you think Bryan? :sqconfused:
As I've said repeatedly, Ots is a great, rock-solid program with the best auto-mixing that I've heard from a DJ program, great sound too. Yes, the beat-mixing requires some advance preparation as it does with Mixmeister. Would I like it to have an indicator to show me which tracks I've played? Sure, but that would hardly qualify me a bigot. I know it's not like you to offend people or attack them personally, so will simply assume that you are having a bad day.
"Words mean things." you know...
Yupper
Rockit's licensing is very simple -- you can put it on as many computers as you like, provided you are the only one using it, and only using one copy at a time.
For multi ops, and folks who have like a husband/wife doing separate gigs at the same time, I do volume licensing, so you don't have to pay full price for each copy
I like things simple
Thanks Rick for the quick response on this, once I use it for a while in the feild instead of here in the office and let a couple of my DJs try it I make look into the the volume licensing and add it to the Karaoke rigs as well.
So what would it cost me for 4 "in use" systems and two backup units?
Steve,OK so what beer do you like!
Maybe I should just suprise you!
Steve,
Does this help?
Steve,
Does this help?
I was thinking more along the lines of some powerful German imports!
the lame encoding is needed for ripping cd's.
just put the encoder on your computer...typically in the plug ins folder in ots studio, then you just need to let studio know where the encoder is...and you are done.
you can find the encoder on the internet or bryan or I can email it to you.
