I don't remember the video .. must have been in one of my anti-MTV periods, since I love Genesis.

My wife and I were listening to 80’s music today, which is not what we listen to often. “Land Of Confusion” came on and it struck a cord. I realized that what was SO DIFFERENT (besides that people actually sang) is that there was a tremendous LACK hatred! Most of the songs were about LOVE, but even those that weren’t, the lyrics lacked the meanness you hear in so much of today’s music.😊

I think many current artists just go for the shock value. I can't imagine many of the current songs playing on a 2K10 Oldies show in 40 years.
