Santa dropped off a pair of adj sunray tri-led dmx units at my house. After messing around with them yesterday I have found that they look better running as master-slave with the built-in sound mode for most music. But... I want them DMX for some specific scene setups.
I'm thinking that I may set them up at the end of the DMX daisy chain and physically connect & disconnect them at times and run them on their own switched power source. Now I wish i bough the non-DMX version and bought an additional starball for DMX use for slow songs and entrance use. :sqembarrassed:
Is anyone running the sunrays in DMX and foregoing their great built-in sound active mode?
