I love getting reaffirmation to the true power of prayer. Here is a heart warming story
My daughters very best friend went into labor last night. My daughter Tiffany went with her, babies daddy and her mom to help deliver the baby. Baby was born around 7 PM in Tucson. Everything was good, no problems. At around 9PM my daughter called crying hysterically and said that the Dr. came in and said that the baby was in trouble. He only had one lung and probably would not survive. My wife was devistated, wanted to take off and go down there. I talked her out of it. Instead we prayed for the young child so new to this earth. Prayed that if the lord could create the life that he could heal the lung. He was a loving caring god and this child was on of gods creatures.
We also called our mother and father in law to pray also. We all stood in agreement that the baby was going to be healed in Jesus name.
About midnight my daughter called back stating that the doc came in the room and said he doesn't know how it happened but the babies lung is beginning to work. the baby was taking control of it. He will have asthma and has a heart murmur. But that is it so far.
This just in as I am writing this. The baby is doing so well that he has been move to Phx. Childrens hospital. The heart rate is up over 100 and is doing well.
I love seeing a miracle, and this was a miracle in every sense of the word. Praise the lord.
