I'm pushing to start getting video footage on gigs and have decided to try making it more prominent on my home page. I had a photo slideshow going across the entire page but have now squeezed the slideshow to 2/3 of the screen and have a stack of videos running down the right side. I know for a fact that we just signed a gig last week from one of the videos I've posted recently. Think I may run with it a bit and see if it flies or not. Wondering what your first impression is. Too messy or does it capture your interest? I'm thinking that if vids really are that effective at making your pitch, the user needs to have be one of the first things they see. Your constructive thoughts appreciated.

Is there someway to not have all that header info showing in the vids when the page first loads?

I'm sure there is. I'm using vimeo for video hosting. Will look into it. Do you think the vids are too large versus the stills? This seemed to be a good balance to me but not sure what other people think about it.

Much cleaner, but that's the footer info. I meant at the top. If you want to keep that, IMHO it needs a softer font, like what's now in the lower right.

I don't have any control over the font. They do let you change the color, which I changed to more of an amber than the blue they default to.

I like this idea a lot!

One thing you might do is put some sort of small header above the video column that says OUR VIDEOS... or A GLIMPSE OF OUR PERFORMANCES

Reason being....a lot of sites i visit have commercials and ads down one side... and i always ignore it and look to the left... im not sure if anyone would ignore those or not? Just workshoppin

If not you are wasting the full potential of these videos... make a business page... or even a personal page....friend everyone you know...every client you can find ... create a community of people who enjoy what you have to offer... are excited to see your next event.... and upload the videos after every gig...

I can promise you will not regret it

I dk if it's just my opinion, but the website became WAY too messy. No organization or easy flow from one section to the other. No clear headings as I scroll down to know what I'm looking at... just a bunch of random words and columns. Headings are usually centered and in a distinct color and/or font and/or size to know what I'm reading about. Colors aren't really contrasting the background well either. Your margins also don't show well either... I try to have everything very clean with everything fitting within a certain border.
 
As far as instagram goes... something seems off when you have 10k followers but your posts go through a streak of 20-40 likes a post and then some get 2000. Are you sponsoring some? If so that means you're getting around 1000-2000 new likes on your sponsored posts, which means you should be converting at least 1-2 per sponsored post into a booking and at least 10-20 into inquiries with that kind of increase in response. If that's not happening, something tells me they're either seeing or not seeing something that is preventing them from turning into actual leads. I mean if I was comparing your site to something like this... https://johnmyersphotographer.com/ or like this Matt Andrews Photography | Nashville Wedding Photographer + Video - (https://www.nashvilleweddingphotography.com/) I'd be having a tough time choosing your site over theirs.
