Finally got the changes done...ok, not really, but I needed to load the entire site to test a few things and I didn't want to load it all in a separate folder on the server just to test. So it's live.

Since day one I never liked my original color scheme, finally found a more wedding oriented color scheme. Also finally expanded the layout beyond 800x600. Otherwise not much has changed from the original site, some additional text added and some excessive text removed. Oh and I added user controlled music to most pages.

I already know some of the pop-ups on the Presentation page are missing text and the music is having issues loading on the Music page...anything else I may have missed? General thoughts, comments, whatever?

Like before the site scrolls differently depending on which browser you use (still trying to resolve that issue in IE7). Next up I plan to change the slideshow on each page to flash so the look is consistent between browsers and expand the package offerings.

(And no...I am not yet actually a Bose-O, I plan on making the purchase next week.)

Very Nice! You are on the right track! I see you still have some links to complete!

Hey Wayde, you know I'm an honest guy, sooo please don't take this wrong...

It does nothing for me.

1. I hate frames (whether Java or not).

2. The menu on the main page, is at the bottom, the other pages, to the right -- needs to be consistent.

3. The center part bounces when you load a page -- meaning it initially shows all the way at the top, then drops down to its regular size.

4. Too much white space around the top, and none near the bottom. It gives everything a squished up feeling.

5. Text on the menu items, should be standard Arial/Helvetica/Verdana, so that it is readable.

Ok, now that I tore you a new one, you can kick my ass... ;) :)

None of it is frames, so I'm not following your comment. The visual effect is three pages slightly overlapped. The left "call to action" page, the center "information" page and the menu.

2. The menu on the main page, is at the bottom, the other pages, to the right -- needs to be consistent.
The splash page has sort of been a bane from day one. As it is simply an entrance page and not a true home page, I felt it ok to break the theme slightly. In fact, I may remove the Home link on the menu.

3. The center part bounces when you load a page -- meaning it initially shows all the way at the top, then drops down to its regular size.
This I have not seen and I've tested in most browsers. What are you using?

4. Too much white space around the top, and none near the bottom. It gives everything a squished up feeling.
I did cut some white space but that is the desired effect, I don't expect it to work for everybody, especially Ted Nugent look-a-like goat farmers. I may fill that top white space with client qoutes one day.

5. Text on the menu items, should be standard Arial/Helvetica/Verdana, so that it is readable.
Next you are going to tell me that all the type should be centered.

After that pic of you with the rifle, I ain't coming near you or the compound...in fact I'm avoiding that road altogether!
Seriously though...thanks for your feedback.

I like the site. I noticed the unique visuals links don't show anything.

As mentioned, that is one of the issues I know about.

I see a frame -- whether it is a Java window, it doesn't matter -- it is still a frame. That sort of stuff won't work on small portable browsers, which is a growing part of your market. Keep it all simple HTML, IMHO, and you have a larger potential market.

Home is where the heart is (please read more fiction). Brides (and sometimes grooms), are in love, so Home is a natural instinct -- use it to your advantage. Make it the central gathering spot, where everybody is comfy, and can wander off, but always find their way home ;)

It's actually a Northern Lights, crossed with a Durban Poison, and then imbred for 4 generations, to bring out its best traits :)
Ohhh, you mean browser wise -- FireFox.

Probably should have been camouflage :sqlaugh:
Actually, I agree it is a very subjective subject -- yet, you will run into many like me...

Awww c'mon -- thats just fer target practice, and chasing away Coyotes. I keep the good stuff inside... ;)

The pleasure is all mine Wayde (damn commie Rockland resident) :sqlaugh:  :sqwink:

on firefox the music search page is different than the rest as the side bar is different with the music search section engulfing below and beyond the side bar appearing to jump out differently than the previous and remaining pages. I really like the look as it is clean crisp and appealing. Good show Wayde fix some spelling errors including the use of Piece in tab and then PEACE on the page perhaps that was done tongue in cheek. IF so creative juices flow and thats ok. Great look compared to previous.

Looks good.

One typo I saw. On your packages page it says "Up 5 hours" in the first bullet, lost the "to".

Its really nice man its contemporary yet elegant in my opinion.
Its very consistent.

Where do you see the word "piece"...I can't find it. What other spelling errors? (In English, not Canadian:sqwink:)

An interesting point about the Music Search. The page is intentionally different in order to fit the table for the search. In fact, in the previous version of my site (when it was 800x600), all of the DJEP tools didn't fit into the center "page", hence they all had the same layout as the current Music Search page. Now that Music Search is the only one that uses the different page I hadn't considered that the page may be perceived as broken. I am playing with ways to better fit it into the regular layout, if possible. I have also been thinking about removing the Music Search from the public site and having it available only for booked clients.

Actually I know the site breaks on a mobile device, it's on my list of things to do...along with Pitch Lock.:sqwink: I will eventually add a mobile style sheet.

What...Penthouse Letters is fiction isn't it? The site is intended as a linear brochure rather than a hub & spoke, once you leave one page there should be no reason to go back. However I do see your point and may have the Home tab direct to the Peace Of Mind page and remove its tab.

Hmmm...maybe I will visit.:sqcool:

God I hope not.

Just for you wise arse, I may even add an animated gif.

Actually, maybe I'll bring my 1879 Colt and we can perforate some beer cans.

Haha...you also forgot that I'm originally from Jersey.
