I started making tapes to play when the band my father played in took breaks, that was in 1972. I started my DJ business in 1975. Between 1973 and 1975 many of the teenagers who were in bands started using their equipment to DJ. I followed suit using my Univox guitar head and speakers to DJ with. By 1977. I joined with a friend who was also a photographer then we started doing sweet-16s and ended up being the school’s DJ for the Senior Dinner, the biggest party of the year except for the prom. The 70’s were a lots fun. We were changing and upgrading equipment every couple months. And then later in 1978 I moved into the college market which opened up a whole much much larger set of clients and college radio.

1983 I was 13 when I did my first wedding

My first legit time was between 1999-2001( I really can't recall the exact year, that time frame is a blur) , it took place at the bowling alley where me and my friends were literally regulars for cosmic bowling on the weekends, we never had to reserve lane, they knew would be there, lol, anyways , they had a DJ , starting talking to him, and a period of time he let me push the play buttons, cue up some tracks, pick the songs. 2010 is when I started my DJ "business" and my weekly Friday night bar gig.

This was my first big DJ system circa 1985.

That's George (RIP) in the photo...he was one of my best friends and DJ partner back then.

He was behind building the light show...me the sound system and the record and cassette/reel-to-reel collections.

Jump forward to today (photo #3)...
