With the news of today of the Killer passing on it got me to thinking how lucky Elvis was to be the King of Rock and Roll

Jerry Lee could have easily been the king. He had the charisma, the musical talent, vocal ability, and the look. After he married his cousin it all went down hill

Carl Perkins was a better musician, better singer, and had the look. He was on fire when the car accident happened it opened the door for Elvis

Buddy Holly was a better musician and songwriter with a voice almost as good as Elvis but didn't have the charisma. His passing in 59 shut the door

Chuck Berry should have been the king of Rock and Roll they ALL stole from him

Chuck Berry did things that nobody else did at the time. His guitar playing revolutionized how musicians started to play the guitar and he could sing. I believe Jimi Hendrix was influenced to play the way he did by him. Jimi took it to a different level. He wasn't a great singer. He just could make a guitar holler the way Chuck could. It's sad that Jimi died so soon. He still even after well over 50 years after his death he is still the number one guitar player of all times.

Chuck Berry was an awesome entertainer and guitar player. He deserves easily to be put in the category of a king when it comes to being one of the best entertainers of all times. He is a LEGEND!
