Would I even need DMX?

Well, thanks to Ben and his vast knowledge of DMX, Lighting, and software(not to mention the fact that he is just an honest to goodness decent and upstanding individual) I went from (IMO) a DMX newbie to a DJ knowing what direction I would like to pursue in the ever growing realm of event lighting.

I just wanted to take a quick moment to thank Ben for making the trip out to connecticut and sharing some of his expertice (...and nerdlyness:sqwink:) especially since he was under the weather this past week.

I have told many folks that if ya meet Ben in person you understand his passion to teach with his incredible knowledge. Hes the coolest geek I ever met. He is now also armed with the Pimp coat. Glad you got to meet him Zion. I also heard that B Sharp was present as well. Looking forward to where you go armed with the new information Ben shared.
 
Too bad, I LOVE Philly. Any excuse to go back would be a welcome one.

Sorry, I missed your talk last night - I too was coming back from AC - spending time with the Auger clan. But heck, we got to look at some lights at the cheer competition & even got to see some co-eds dancing at a frat party @ the Tun Tavern... :sqwink:

Any idea if Martin ever fixed the fact that the Freekie doesn't show the DMX value of a channel's slider as the user moves it up & down? THAT is this unit's only drawback, IMHO.
