WWYD? Time to update the website

To many ads? Support ODJT and see no ads!
It does need a modern look.

Also needs pictures.

Picky stuff for me...
-Be more consistant with fonts and font sizes, the text on the "10 Questions" page is huge.
-Be more consistant with alignments, on the Packages page you mixed center and left alignments. Generally speaking, center aligned text is annoying and more difficult to read.
-"Commercial Accounts"??? Maybe "For Bars & Restaurants"
-The DJ Placement page seems like stuff better covered in a consultation. There is such a thing as too many pages.
-While many put too much emphasis on their logo, yours could be a bit larger.
-None of the pages have titles.
-Too many different/clashing colors on the home page.
 
Ya want the truth or sugarcoated? :D

1) Page Title is the page title. Not good.
2) Ditch the packages and options. Just makes you look like every other DJ w/ rates posted. And shoppers will see rates 1st.
3) Commercial Accounts. huh?????
4) DJ Placement - yeah, we consult for free. Save it for the meetings.
5) 10 questions to ask? Ditch it. Not needed.
6) Your contact info/name and number/etc should be at the top of every page.
7) Needs pictures. Not generic but emotion/action packed of YOUR recent clients having fun.
8) BIOS. Thank goodness no silly DJ w/ silly grin and mic in face shots.
9) Get some GOOD copy and a reason to get them to call - plus call to action.

That is all I could find for now.

In small markets or less well versed markets the "10 questions" thing can be a great marketing plan.

Every phone sale I do I mention we provide a contract. In most places this wouldn't be even a necessity to say but here it sells me alot of bookings as there are only two of us that do

I get a lot of positive feedback from clients about that page. Several book me because the other DJ's could not answer some of those questions quiclky.:sqwink:
 
7. Do you do more than just play music at my event?

Yes, sometimes I will actually play the correct music at your event. I also drink til I puke and molest every bridesmaid within arms reach. As a bonus, during dinner I make anatomically correct balloon animals. :sqeek:
