I haven't dj'ed in years now, but I still have a set up for different uses. This is an older pic of it, it's been changed slightly, but still gives the basics.

Closeup of the setup we went with for last nights event. Threw the mini-colorstrips under the table (with a glow skirt), 4 pars behind us for some uplighting, 2 Bliss lights and our 4-bars (not seen in this pic). Wanted to keep a very basic look for this event and wanted to play around with some different (for us) lighting setups.

Here's a couple of other shots...I'll look for some of the ceiling shots on the other computer. (Bliss Lights are on the floor..)

Nice Earthquakes! :triwink: are you running the tops bi-amped with the bass or full range with the bass (on a low crossover). Ever thought of going three way?

This is my two way system. Those vegas are the smaller folded horns not the eartquakes.

My 3 way system tops have a 15" coax a 12" mid and a horn. This system uses the eartquakes.

Okay... So I returned the JBL PRX635's and upgraded to a pair of EV QRX 212/75's. The PRX's aren't even in the same league. These EV's get a LOT louder and with the 3" compression drivers, the highs carry a lot farther.

I'll probably be getting the Crown XTI 4002 to drive it. I tested the EV's capabilities using my Crown MA12000i (RMS and Peak limited of course).
 
I had a gig last month that I was pretty happy with. I know it's a DJ forum and I do live sound now, but I would like share these photos and video with you guys.

System is Dynacord XA2 with extra subs and extra mains.
monitors are 6 EV 1502's across the front of the stage, running each pair off a channel of a PLX3002
drummer has a powered Mackie 1530 on each side of him.
16 LED PAR56 lights on trussing over drummer.
PAR56 washes from the sides about 20 feet out in front of stage.
4 moving heads
3 strobes, 1 truss mount, one on each side of stage by guitar amps.
smoke...lots of smoke!

The band is "For Today" from Sioux City, they are some kids that I have worked with for years and are doing pretty good now, have toured The US, South America , Europe, and this year already have Japan and Australia booked for March and April.
