Hi guys, having major problems with traktor pro 2 at the moment. Please help if you know what's up :) Just so you know, I am a newbie and at the moment I am mixing only with my laptop and no other external mixing devices. I have recorded 2 mashups already using traktor and the only issue I had with them was that the end product had a much lower volume than the original songs I used, the waves were much smaller. So in an effort to fix this I was playing around with the audio settings and now whenever I record a mix, I load the recording into deck B and not only is the volume much softer, the recording is in a completely different BPM! It would seem as though Traktor has recorded my mixing in a different BPM and so when I load it, instead of it being 128 BPM it came up at like 96 BPM. I have no idea what has happened have tried adjusting the sample rate from 44100 to 48000 and that still doesn't work. I would really appreciate anybody who could give me a clue as to what I should do! Thankyou!

Welcome to ODJT. Go to this Forum and someone should be able to assist you. I don't do much with recording! http://www.native-instruments.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=210

I checked out that website and there were a lot of useful questions there with good info, thanks, I managed to solve a few of the major problems however there was nothing there on my issue regarding the volume decrease in my recordings, I have tried many things, I have tried putting the gain up on the recorder, playing around with the speaker and recording settings, I even tried using audacity but that didn't really work (PS. Does audacity record the sound it hears from the microphone or straight from traktor?) So yeah any ideas? :)

As I have stated , even though I have Traktor Pro, I don't use it to do recordings so I can't answer your questions. If you have a registered copy of the software, call Traktor and they will help you.
