PoolTraxx DJ pool - any good?

To many ads? Support ODJT and see no ads!
Just got some spam a few minutes ago for PoolTraxx. Unlimited downloads for $24.95/month for audio or $49.95/month for video. Wondering if anyone here knew anything about them.

You are in the business as a DJ. That is NOT spam. That company is ERG and I have used their subscription for many years although not currently. They are legit and have great music and versions.

BTW To add.......I much prefer their Subscription to Promo Only. They have a Dance/Club Version too that is awesome.

If he did not request it, and it was a bulk mailing, it IS SPAM, regardless of merit.

How can he request something about which he does not know? If one has a business, website and subscribe to or do business with online Merchants, Forums, etc. then one can expect to receive such mailings. Many of the new products I post/share on here is sent to me by e-mail.

Canute, you're a moron. I didn't sign up for any emails from the company. It is spam. I realize that a business can certainly expect to receive such mailings, but it is still spam.

My definition of spam is when I contact a company and expressly tell them I don't want their material and they continue to send it.
Even on this Forum there are ads you did not request, every Internet page you open will contain ads you did not request. It is a fact of life. We always seem to want only what we want without really knowing what we want!!! Now go sign up for the Subscription, it is a great Subscription....Winamp beckons it! :spam1:

My definition of spam

Is not THE definition of spam. The ads on this forum are not spam, they are ADS. This email is SPAM. Of course, I write this realizing that there is no possible way that you'll utter the words that should rightfully be said..............."You're right. Thank you."

I want to ask a question. If nobody ever e-mails or shares new stuff with others, how will one know what is new on the market?

I'd like to see some of this "new stuff" you speak of, all I see is copy/paste of dj emails I already get! j/k
Well you must be the exception at least you call it "DJ e-mails". ;)

No, it's called business to business communication and advertising. Unsolicited bulk mail alone is not the legal definition of Spam.
A one time mailing with the option to be removed from any potential future contact is not spam.

You advertise as a DJ - then expect businesses who service DJs to introduce themselves to you. Very simple concept.

As one who works within the mailing industry...ANYTHING that is unsolicited is spam, regardless if it pertains to your business. There are different levels of spam, but spam is still spam.

BTW Rick Ryan, did I answer your question? It is a good subscription service. I highly recommend it and I am considering getting back into a subscription to fill in some of my blanks. This one may just be it! I started using them about 13 years ago and even though they were a bit pricier then, their service and formats were excellent.

If it is unsolicited .. it is still SPAM (I suppose there will be exceptions such as friends or family trying to find you). I expect and accept businesses or individuals who send SPAM once with the ability to opt in on future mailings (and I appreciate that). I tolerate those that make you opt out instead. But it's still SPAM.

Every sender believes either that what they offer will be of benefit to you or to them.

"Spam" like the words "Love" and "Hero" are much misused these days. Those who can't sell don't like to be sold. Reminds me of when I used to do cold calls on businesses by foot. Each time I came to a Store that had the sign "No Soliciting" posted on the front door, I got excited. Those turned out to be the easiest sells. Many weak salesmen would turn away when they saw those signs. I would walk right in.

Let us know your email address .. I'd be happy to redirect my SPAM.
