Customer service from Latshaw

Nah, that's not my style. I worked in customer service for close to ten years and threats like that are meaningless. I just can't believe that they'd be that inconsiderate - if their recordkeeping sucks, just be honest about it and offer a discounted re-purchase rate or something. I didn't cause the problem, I barely used the program, and if the license was revoked or "hijacked" (?), they're the only ones who would know.

I can find an alternative to using their software program. It's unfortunate that this is the reason why I will.
I've been in customer service and sales for a long time as well .. there is a difference between a threat and a promise ...

That is piss poor customer service .. basically saying you're lying and could fabricate all the evidence including the CC info .. all for a $69 item. I would not have threatened .. just told them I planned to make sure others reconsidered doing business with them.

He'd be better off hiring Kanye West to do his customer support via Facebook.

I've never met someone that was so darn awful with their replies in a customer service roll.

He's really not a people person.

Ill never purchase anything more from them either.

The irony is he can't afford to hire someone to do customer service....because he loses customers fast...because he's doing the customer service.

The unfortunate reality is they still make some of the better Karaoke software .. I use KJ FIle Manager a lot.

I did just check and my products show up in their list. I guess I'm afraid to upgrade at this point.

I don't disagree. After my experience today, I'm tempted to pay somebody to code a new version of the program they won't let me use and give it away for free.

What is it with these BOB's??? They're giving us all (other Bob's) a bad name![emoji1] I'm gonna have to go with Robert or Bobby or Rob... nah.. Robcat will NEVER cut it.[emoji1]

I print my books using the Karaosoft Song List Creator .. does the best job of concatenating multiple versions into a single line (and I've bought most of the others). But the Karaoke software I use (JustKaraoke 2.0) has their own live version of an online songbook .. They call it the Super Request Tool. I bought it a couple of years ago but only played with it .. might be time to resurrect it. You can either set up a request station/kiosk (and I bought a touchscreen monitor to do that) or you can have people come into an address with a broswer or smartphone app. It works standalone or integrated into JK2.0. When integrated, it's pretty cool .. the requests show up in a pop-up and you can click to place them in queue.

I'm not an advocate for piracy but I think I'd let him know that his software can be found at a very "discounted" rate online
