Then less than half of the amount of every show will come to you every time. If I'm at a $500 show, the majority of that money is mine. It pays all of my business costs and whatever is left, is mine. If you add a person, now you have to split whatever is left after the business costs have been paid. Again, you're making less than 1/2. Add in other people and the numbers go down rapidly.
In addition, if this other guy can do it all, he doesn't need you.
