Any of you guys check out any of these lights. They are guaranteed for a year and 6 months on the battery. These lights are direct from china the price you ask 99 USD/

I think I did see those, but if I remember correctly there was a lot of negative reviews. It looks like this guy is certainly enjoying them though. Can't beat that pricing either.

Finally used these LIVE on Saturday. Had a 16' backdrop to highlight and only had to use 4 of these at half-dimmer (these lights are BRIGHT) with a light gold accent. Looked amazing. We left them static until open dancing started and then went into a slow color fade. It was like moths to a light bulb as everyone started snapping photos....especially the photographer. I wasn't sure they'd perform well in sound active mode because we were about 75' away, but we gave it a try. Worked great, catching the beats very well. So far, I've been extremely impressed with my purchase.

Very nice!
The fact that they are still quite bright at half intensity should give you peace of mind that the battery will last the entire event. :)

I remember you saying you had your old lights in an ikea lampshade or something.
Do you have any plans of doing something similar with your new uplights?
Like inside a top hat or covered by a facade?
You could probably do home made quite easily.
Just adds that extra elegant touch imo and maybe some extra "kick" protection.
I know it's the first time you are using them and are still experimenting, but just a thought.

Yes, I'm working on a facade for them. I think I've found the ones I want, but they are expensive. So, may just have to pick up a few at a time until I get enough inventory.

Randy, just wanted to check in to see how the lights are holding up? I know you've had them for about 6 months, but wasn't sure how much you've used them besides the pic in April with gold uplighting.

Randy, Hi, Do you ever have problems with the width of the road cases fitting through regular sized doors? how much do you think a full case weighs? (lol I ask because I live in a 2nd story of a condo w/ stairs and working out personal storage logistics)

I don't use the exact lights Randy does but i'll say this. If they are large charging cases that hold 10 lights - stairs might be an issue. I store these in my house because it's easier to charge that way. The cases are bulky and don't fit through the bedroom doors in my house. They will however fit through the front door. My lights are Cube Echos from Eternal Lighting. My biggest regret is not ordering the cases that only hold 5. Would be MUCH easier to transport
