New Uplights

I beg to differ. I own battery powered lights from two different manufactures and they both batteries have labels with their power rating on them.

Having bought from a handful of different sources, I can tell you that more often than not, you get unlabeled blue bricks.

(Incidentally, thanks for your pictures... now I know which batteries to order).

With the wedding season getting ready to swing into high gear...today I'm in the testing, cleanup, organization mode.

What I had thought and hoped is that I could use these lights wireless, come out of the dmx out of this unit into the dmx in of one of my older units and control it also (somewhat) wireless. It does exactly that. Not that I'll ever need that too much, but at least now I know that the dmx out of the wireless puck is passing a full dmx signal.

That's exactly how i run my light shows now. I put my Eternal Cube Echos running on battery on stage and then run the other lights on stage from the DMX out on the Echos. I can control an entire stage without a single wire between the lighting booth and stage. I love that

I'm wanting to use these uplights with my DMX Buddy from ADJ, is there another fixture with the same properties that would be in their library?

Idk ... I use Freestyler, but I was able to find a puck light and created my own fixture file for it. Took me about 15 minutes to do that and set up some automated macros.

Btw, John ... glad to have you on board here.

Also, since I've had a few messages. The large black box is my light storage box; housing my controller box and all my lighting and speaker cables. On top of that, I have strapped my 4' table, my facade and my DMX & electrical storage boxes (those water-sealed toolboxes work great!).

So are you going to install a 110v shorepower receptacle in the trailer somewhere so you can charge them while keeping them packed away?

I did/do have plans for that. But based on the specs of the box, I'm supposed to leave it vented (open) during charge. My contact is trying to confirm with their technician if adding a vent/fan would suffice.
