I plan on now to have maybe 12 lights, that I would bet 75% of the time would just be on one color for the event, but I want the EASY option of maybe a chase or just a change of color... like hit a button and wham, all pink, wham, all blue ...

I know that Ben is working hard on the for
any ideas from the masses about a good controller that an idiot can use to control the Rain Par 56 LED lights?

Any thoughts would be great, please keep it simple

I'll make it real simple, when you need to use your 12 lights and have them chase;

Fly me to Maui and I'll operate them for you. :sqbiggrin:

OR

I will sell you my Chauvet DMX40 controller pre-programmed to your specs.

A simple Obey hardware controller would work, that's what I currently use to operate my Rain56's. Simple enough to change colors or go into a chase.

But if you want to go software, get you an X-factor box for the ShowXpress software. Super simple to do what you are asking and just having a button to hit and change immeditially on the fly.

Either way, you get the gear and I'll personally walk you thru it over the phone to get you comfortable with using it. Fair enough offer?

I got the showxpress, once you understand it, no problems. I use it to control 16 RAIN56's, 8 regular cans (2 4 channel dimmer packs), strobe, smoke machine, spotlight, and roboscans.

I bought a touch screen to be able to change scenes very quickly and efficiently.

However, I haven't figured out how to make cool scenes for my roboscans yet.

You should have mentioned that at the Pizza Ranch! LOL. I had my laptop with me. Use Generator. You'll LOVE it. :)
