I got this call early this morning, and it made me sick to my stomach. I have a friend who used to work for Behringer who said the same thing. Anybody want to buy a Midas Venice 160... only a few months old... going cheap now.

An XL8 mixing console carries about a $300,000 price tag... hard to imagine the justification of using Behringer parts for that.

Since Behringer has probably the best audio manufacturing capability in the world (as we know it) -- can they not make it better...?
They needed a muffler company to muffle the backround noise on the crap equipment they makeDoes this mean they've cornered the market on mufflers (hopefully for karaoke)...?
