Mix this should have been a simple transaction
Client " how much will you charge for this event"
Mix "it will be $xxx:
client " That sounds Great"
Mix " let me get you email address I'll send you a contract, will you be paying the deposit by credit card?"
Client " yes my email address is [email protected] "
Mix "thanks would like to give me your credit card info now or would you like me to send you a paypal invoice"

Client gives credit card info has contract esigns and it's done, it's that simple

LOL...I wish every phone call that came my way was just like that!

Most of mine do, thats why referrals are awesome, I've bult my business on them and 100% of my gigs come from them the question I hear most often is not how much it is are you available, or I really hope you are available on such and such a date

First Canute said to tell everyone here hello . just found out yesterday I have 2 inquires about me doing a couple of events . One is for January 7th . A guy I know came and told me a committee wants to talk to me about doing a gig on that day. The other one is for April 26th. Again a committee wants me to do something for them as well . This is the same committee that was supposed to have someone do an event for them and couldn't because their gear got damaged the Saturday before the event . The chair called me that Monday in a panic . I came that Saturday and came to the rescue. I was laughing when I got the call . My thinking said what happened to this other DJ having backup gear?

DJ Ricky, I'm in the Northern Neck. Westmoreland County. If I can ever help you or anyone else out in the Northern Neck / Southern MD let me know please. Generally I try to stay out of NOVA . In Spanish that means don't go, and usually I don't because NOVA does things on the road that causes my PTSD to trigger. I like staying rural. I know all those places you spoke of though. I used to go through there all the time. I would go to Manassas though. My rates quadruple if I ever have to go to Tyson's Corner. I'm not that close to it, the place and traffic are insane, I have to go through Maryland to get there. Sometimes It's not always about money. It's about sanity. but funny, a crazy person talking about sanity? Who would have thought? You drive up there, there is a good chance you might actually know what I'm talking about.
