I agree, this could have been handled discretely ... though probably not in Algren's character to do so. I will miss some of the dry (very dry?) Brittish wit.

(LOL)... If you want plenty of dry British wit, you can always go to DJForums. There are plenty of them with wit so dry, it's practically desolate (LOL)!

I'm not a fan of the guy but in his defense he did email me. I'm not sure which (email or suicide letter) he did first though.

As per my usual I replied to myself. When mail comes through the site's contact form it's from [email protected] - I reply (instead composing a new email) out of habit and talk to myself. I have a habit of doing that. :D Gmail is so 'smart' I don't see a reply from myself as a new message and didn't realize until I looked at my sent items hours later.

As matter of fact this should be a suggestion for the next Xenforo update. The reply to address should reflect the address provided in the contact form.

Now I feel dumb, I posted a suggestion on the developers forum and it's already a feature. Just a little check mark on the backend.

I could swear every time I suggest something over there it's either already a feature or in the works. One thing I love about these developers is they very rarely come back with a "working as designed" post.

Some other software devs have the bad habit of running the "working as designed" line ad nasuem and irks me to no end. Maybe it's working as it's designed but that *is not* how it should be designed.

So, how long do you guys think it will be before Mr. Green comes roaming back into these parts again?

Hopefully he's off to "Greener" pastures ;)

You mean Grenner pastures (LMFAO)?

Greener/Grenner, Tomato/Tomato as long as those pastures aren't where this old bull is it's all good ;)
