I agree, this could have been handled discretely ... though probably not in Algren's character to do so. I will miss some of the dry (very dry?) Brittish wit.
(LOL)... If you want plenty of dry British wit, you can always go to DJForums. There are plenty of them with wit so dry, it's practically desolate (LOL)!

I'm not a fan of the guy but in his defense he did email me. I'm not sure which (email or suicide letter) he did first though.
As per my usual I replied to myself. When mail comes through the site's contact form it's from [email protected] - I reply (instead composing a new email) out of habit and talk to myself. I have a habit of doing that.
Gmail is so 'smart' I don't see a reply from myself as a new message and didn't realize until I looked at my sent items hours later.
As matter of fact this should be a suggestion for the next Xenforo update. The reply to address should reflect the address provided in the contact form.
