Yes, I know this an old thread, and I shouldn't bring it back to life, but I am kind of bored, I will say, this is only DJ forum that I actively post on, I found DJ Chat first, and well, I am just going to leave it at that, I am happy my account wont let me post there. I am on a few other forums as well, and this is by far the friendliest one I have come across. I feel for me , that I can try and get help here, and not get treated like a second class citizen because I am not at level as the rest of the members(if that makes sense).
+1 Exactly the same experience. Signed up but was never able to post there, and after reading their mail, I am also fine with that.
Here? I have learned much in my short tenure. Bunch of great, knowledgeable people who are not above goofing on each other. Couldn't be better!

I drop by the other forum occasionally for the most part there are alot more posts here nowadays. It's very strange because a few years back they were very tightly moderated now it seems one or two guys run the show with no moderation at all.

There are three other forums I read and post in occasionally. This is by far the best one. I've noticed these forums seem to go through changes as participants come and go. I hope this one doesn't change too much anytime soon, but as it does, I hope the tone remains the same (sharing, light-hearted)[emoji4].

Forums like any gathering place will change over time as the clientele changes. We try and keep a balance here. Sometimes that means showing someone the door or inviting some new people aboard.I really enjoy the balance of uber smart/experienced folks willing to share their expertise and new members who might not have the technical knowledge or business acumen yet. As corny as it sounds, it's cool to read through the threads and see a newbie have a 'light bulb moment'.
Dude, we try and keep that under wraps and until they're in so far they cannot leave! Don't blow our cover. Be cool man.
Watch out for the frickin' Monkey though. If he gets on your case, it's over.
