Man F*** this weather!

Fine airport, just not convenient .. and I'd still have a 2 hour drive home on Sunday night after arriving at midnight .. AND .. it's supposed to snow on Sunday too.
I just hope that if they cancel the flight, they do it BEFORE I take what will probably be a 3 hour (with snow) trip to get there.

It's a Sales workshop on Landing a deal, creating proper messaging to the customer, and expanding the deal. 2 parts .. 2 hours on Thursday and 2 hours on Saturday. I think the poop hat would be critical to you being accepted.
OK... I withdraw my offer.[emoji1] If I had to talk on that topic for 4 hours, I'd bore MYSELF to death. Not even talkin' about the poor students.[emoji1]

Ok, so it's only a workshop. It's not like you need to be there to actually sign a deal or land a contract or whatever.
Obviously I don't know your business, but personally I don't think I would be driving 120 miles in a snowstorm just to get to the airport for a workshop.
My life is worth more than that.

I used to always go out in the snowstorms to drive around in my youth .. and that was with a rear wheel drive Chevy Nova. I'll give myself plenty of time and take it easy. I enjoy driving in the snow .. it's the other less experienced drivers that irritate me.Ok, so it's only a workshop. Here it was 65 degrees one day and the next 2 days under 20 degrees. I believe what the Bible says. It says we won't know the changing of the seasons. Signaling we're in our last days.
Didn't matter .. they cancelled my 5pm flight last night. Now I'm booked on an 8AM flight out of Providence on Thursday morning .. first available plane.
We aren't even allowed on most roads today .. Governor called a travel ban on state roads.

Weather people are saying we are suppose to get another round f snow late this afternoon. However, right now I have 3 inches outside. Schools are closed, and my work closed down. The problem isn't the 3 inches much, but we had a lot of sleet and freezing rain coe down early this morning which hardened the snow, and made some roads slippery...even with a ton of that salt brine they laid down.
My wife's work opened up at 11 am today...she was NOT happy about having to drive into work. She should get some work done though as their phones should be real quiet today.
I will go back into work tomorrow and I will be real busy with phone calls. Will need to make 2 days worth of calls in 1 day to catch up. Plus truck drivers will be real busy delivering today's AND tomorrow's orders in one day. That depends on how much more snow we get too. Owner of the company lives about 25 miles north of me, and they already have a few more inches of snow than I got. So, if we get more snow, they may close tomorrow too...That will be a big problem on Thursday/Friday for delivering all these orders though. We will get real backed up if that happens.

We were predicted to get as much as 24"...
but the temperature dropped, it turned to ice pellets for a while...
and that lowered the total to about 12".
And to make sure the weather reporters were still in the news, they didn't downgrade the storm until 11am...

12 inches of snow??? ... that's more than our average for the entire winter![emoji1] I remember we got 4" in one day once, but I really don't recall getting any more than that here in one storm. The 4" had the city shut down for days![emoji1]
