I'll make this a really easy question. For those that are multi-op, whether it's 3-30 guys, how do you pay your guys? Or do you?
I know a multi op that hired young good looking male models to pose as his DJs (it attracts the women) They are there to hand out materials & collect names & numbers of those that want more info. .....and flirt with the women.
False advertisement. What a fraud and of course from a well respected top level pro. I am appalled.
That's a pretty strong statement. Not quite sure I'd agree it was "false advertisement" as much as "savvy business marketing". He's playing his strong suit and realizes the show help is eye candy. In a former life, I used to do engineering shows and there were always booths who would hire female models to pitch to male engineers. They always walked away with tons of biz cards to follow up on.
I worked for multi-ops for years
(as an employee, not as a owner)
and I never got paid.
But considering I would also have to work bridal shows that were sponsored by the radio station...
I was finally able to convince them that I had put in my hours.
I was always told it was for MY benefit as well as the company's...
which I agree with.
But I do know many of the OTHER types of vendors would simply bay their employees by the hour,
like a normal day at work.
If it is Phoenix, I think I have seen them.I know a multi op that hired young good looking male models to pose as his DJs (it attracts the women) They are there to hand out materials & collect names & numbers of those that want more info. .....and flirt with the women.
