I honestly don't think it matters what brand you use. You should use what works for you and your clients. Bigger names are bigger because they have more avenues to sell their products AND they market their products and people are happy with them and they tell others.
That doesn't mean a lesser known brand is automatically not a fit for what someone needs.
Everyone has different opinions on what is too expensive, on what is too big, too small, too heavy and too light.
Use what works for you. Don't listen to someone that wants to bash the brand you are using unless they are using it too and are willing to come to your events are see how you are using them and offer positive advice you can use.
When seeking advice, only listen to people that like to talk about the positives of what works for them, not the ones that like to spend most of their time telling what's wrong with equipment they know nothing or very little about.
