    Question about forums?

That's a professional statement! And it makes for good common sense as well.

    Cool Bridal Party Introductions

"Bittersweet Symphony" looped w/o vocals The piano intro to "Bless The Broken Road" looped until the B&G get to the floor, then exit loop to make it their first dance. Did the same thing to Alison Krauss' version of the Beatles "I Will" 1:37 of instrumental intro to get the small bridal party...

Kevin- I have used the AMDJ machines before as well as Atari. In terms of shear volume of bubbles, the Chauvet Bubble Kings are hard to beat. You'll find that until you get used to your script, etc. down and are able to expand, that the bubbles are indeed the show, as Papa points out. As I...

    Funk Me!

Joss Stone's Super Duper Love is some rockin' stuff there. When I did my assistant's wedding, 2 septagenarians hit the dance floor during the cocktail hour to that song. Of course, it was rapidly downhill from there. I just got Van's new CD Keep It Simple. Very nice, kind of classic Van stuff...

    Lost my day job today.

Hampton, So sorry, I know that has to be upsetting for your family and you. You know, the Lord moves in strange ways and you know what you've been wanting to do........... Why don't you give me a call sometime and also, don't forget all the great educational opportunities that I've...

    Funk Me!

No kidding! Awesome. Didn't know about the new CD. I'll be there June 10. Ever tried any of this for cocktails, etc. Wes? Never fails that someone comes up to me with "Who is that?". Thanks to my buddy at the local record store (yep, I still go there!) for turning me on to James. Now I know...

Yo Davy! What about James Hunter? You know him. If you don't, check him out. He's a limey, too. Endorsed by no less than Van Morrison. Best CD is "People Gonna Talk". Try it, you'll like it. BTW, you're right, honky soul is the stuff. Rick

My first Wedding back in the saddle

Nice work, Jonny! Welcome back to the game!

    WOW......

Since you are in Canada, are you doing the MC work? For the record, most around here are 4-5 hours including cocktails, dinner, and dancing. 2 hours of dancing solid would be the maximum. We are doing the MC work as well as the behind the scenes coordination. Most Americans can't hold their...

E Street Band's Danny Federici dies

I have tickets for April 30th here in C-Ville. Haven't seen Bruce since 1974. I'm very curious about how this will affect the shows. I'm guessing it will make for some tearful moments. BTW, I have 2 spare tickets for anyone close by or willing to drive.

I concur with the $1,000, but you'll also have some advertising costs. As I'm sure Rob told you, he's coming up with more and more angles all the time, so I think the cost of advertising will actually be cheaper by using some of the materials that he is making available. It's a great program...

I just did hula hoops for 35 this morning and it was a little confusing. That contest is the biggest challenge with larger numbers of kids.

Chuck- I rehearse the program before every party. I have a script as well, although now I am able to just riff off of it. I wanted to let those listed on the National BP site know that the notes from last week's teleconference with Rob Peters are now posted in the BP forum. Thanks!

Hey Papa- Last year I used that song "Prince Paul's Bubble Party" as a pre-show song. Be cool to figure a way to use the video. Prince Paul was in De La Soul.

Chuck- That looks great. I was also thinking of resurrecting that idea for the Bubble business. Really like the Kids Parties at the top. I take a spare machine to the parties, a smaller one that I already had.
