Hey Kevin...

Very neat, very clean, very cool! Hope those truss warmers are flame proof... ...sorry, I couldn't resist.

gee after all the confusion a trademarked name to be found,,,,,,,,,ala Super Soaker. Thus goes the big mystery.

Here another configuration of that same fascade from tonights comination holiday party where we wrapped the entire booth. Very versatile... can be 2 fascades... can be as small as a 3 panel or even 2 panel (triangle point if you wish) all the way up to the 8 panels when appropriate. I wish I could get more of these.

I'm still in catch-up mode from my hiatus. This is from a wedding I did in September.

Karl share info on your lighting tree perhaps a close up shot. Im intrigued and oh very nice is that a home built facade?

Both the light box and the facade are homemade.

The light box is plywood covered with carpet from Ben. The facade is pvc with material. It is a little thin so I want to get thicker material for it.

The light box has 2 mushrooms in it now and I clamp the strobe on the stand. I have a close up photo but am getting ready to go to work. I will try to put it up later today.

It is very cumbersome and heavy. I can put it on myself because I have monkey arms and I am 6'3".

Karl...

You and me need to get together and play with lights. I'll help you put a kick azz light show together... for a burger and a beer!

Kevin,,, Nice set up,,, let me nitpick,, :)

With your cords that run to your coffin on the front,,, next time,,,, take them off to the side of the stage, run them around and bring them up from behind,,, your'll never see them.... :)

Here's the latest:

I was going to do that and people started walking through the door 45 minutes early! I didn't even get to tape them down. Those are the lighting cables. The speaker cables are run behind.

Here is the picture of my light box. Like I said, it has 2 mushrooms in it now and the strobe I clamp to it.

It takes about 3 minutes to set up and take down. That was the main reason for me building it.

The wires are pretty much invisible when it is dark. I have moved things around so they are not as visible when the room lights are on.

Lights have never been my thing. I want to have some but that is not what I get hired for. If I could get something even easier than what I have, I would do it.

I don't do High Schools. That is why you have my subs now and I don't. I just don't want to have set ups that take for ever.

I wow them with my performance and the gear is an after thought.

I would still like to get together some day though.
